The First Birthday Party

We had Hailey's birthday party on Saturday the 26th. It was a blast... we had my mema & papa, Grandma, and lots for friends & family come in town for the party. She has so many people that love her. Yesterday, I took her to the pedi for her 12 month check-up. She is doing great on developmental... here are some things we are going to start working on: offering her a fork & spoon, brushing her teeth (which we already do) but with tooth paste, and cold turkey to just the spippy cup. Dr.McCray said that I could give Hailey 2% milk instead of whole. When asked why.... because she meets weight criteria way above and she doesn't need the extra fat. So speaking of weight she is now 23 lbs and 3 oz(82% for weight). Which Dr.McCray said was a good weight because she is slimming down and is now getting out of the 90% for weight, which she wants to see. My only concern is that Hailey is not drinking very much milk from the spippy cup (maybe 8 oz all day) and I'm scared she is not getting enough of what she needs. But she is still eating her table foods, so I guess that's ok. She has also grown 3.5inchs since her 9 month check-up and that puts her now in the 77% for height (which is way better then that 47% she was in). Maybe she won't be as short as we that :). She say's about 5 words, and all kinds of babbling. Loves to dance, patty cake, and new thing stomp her feet. Yesterday, she learn how to show us where her head is (way cute).
