Big Mama

Ok I'm now 36 weeks, and I know Hailey could come anytime... But I still don't think that I have fully comprehended that I will be having a baby soon!! We are still getting things ready...Hailey's furniture is finally in and we are getting it tomorrow (it's about time). Tuesday, I had my first doctors appointment, were she checks to see if I'm dilated or if my cervix is thinning. The sad truth is nothing... my cervix is doing nothing. So that just tells me Hailey is not coming anytime soon (At least this is what I believe). My feet continue to swell but my blood pressure is staying low, so my dr said it's just normal water retention :) The joys of being pregnant!!

36 weeks and Ticking

Tomorrow I'm offically 36 weeks (9 months)!!! :) I'm slowly getting things ready..cleaning, washing Hailey's stuff and still waiting on her nursery furniture to come in. Last Thursday my wonderful co-workers gave me a baby shower. It was out at Kim's house in the country and they had all there kiddo's playing & running around. It was a blast... we always have a great time out there. Plus, Hailey got tons of stuff (diaper, wipes, adorable outfits and more diapers)!!! I'm so blessed to work with such fabulous people. Thank you again for everything.

Almost 35 weeks... the UPS & DOWNS

I will be 35 weeks (8.75 months) on Tuesday... And from a NICU nurse stand point,if I was to deliver (not that I want to yet) she would not necessarily have to be admitted to the NICU :) My last check up went very well and the weekly doctors appointment start next week. All though I have been blessed with a fabulous pregnancy, the normal ups and downs are starting to kick in as we are turning into home plate!!
UPS:
1. Jc and I will have a beautiful healthy little girl soon... and we love to watch my stomach make weird movements or even try to figure out what body part is pushing on my stomach.
Ok sad but that's the only up I can think of right now...
DOWNS:
1. Sleep is getting more uncomfortable when it comes to trying to turn with 25 extra pounds on you. I wake up in the same position I fell asleep in with my hands and feet asleep or I get sharp Charley horses in my legs.
2. Summer is not the best time to be pregnant... it's HOT, But that's what water and ice cream are for.
3. I have not been able to wear my wedding ring for about 2weeks now... at times I feel like the single chick who got knock up, Jc just laughs at me :)
4. My hands and legs are slowly starting to swell... but not to bad and my blood pressure is staying low.
5. I know this one is stupid but it kinda freaks me out... my belly button that I use to think was a never ending hole has an end, Which is sticking out.. Jc likes to push it back in. All I can do is laugh.
6. Our chair that was recovered, was wrong... but hopefully will be ready by the end of this week
7. Our nursery furniture that we have been waiting on for 15weeks now, has supposedly been shipped from over seas and will also be here by the end of this week.
But with my ups and downs I have loved every bit of being pregnant and I'm so ready to share this new adventure with Jc :)

Our First Baby Shower-

We had our first shower on Sunday August 3rd. My girls from high school through it for Hailey and I!! I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends that have been around for all the joys in my life. They traveled from far and wide to give us this shower. It was a wonderful shower and we made out like bandits with some great stuff. Someone even pointed out to me that I even had all of my 8 Bridesmaids there :) Hailey is going to be so loved by all my girls!! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to come and celebrate the sooner or later arrival of Hailey.... Jc and I love you all. While us girls were at the shower the boys went out golfing. Judging by the over happy attitudes.... they had a great time golfing and drinking. Hillary, Aaron and Jackson even came from Houston to bring what Hillary called "gifts for Jackson's Bride". Jacko is so darn cute... I only hope that Little miss Hailey is as sweet & good as Jackson. I will post more pics when I get them.

Hailey's First Glamour Shots

Today we had our 32 week check-up and 2 ultrasounds. We have had a very busy day.... woke up early to have a 2D ultrasound before our doctors appointment. The ultrasound went well, although half the time JC and I didn't know what we were looking at. Our little girl is not as small as she was at 18 weeks. So her whole body doesn't fit on the screen. Hailey is measuring 31.2 weeks even though we are 32 weeks. She is 3 Lbs 11 oz and 16 inches long!! Which the tech said she is a little small but looking good. I just said she could stay on the small side because it's less to push out :). My doctors appointment went well and she said that I'm measuring fine. Hailey's heartbeat is running around 150 bpm and strong. After my doctors appointment we had to rush off to Jc's doctors appointment because he has had bronchitis. His appointment went well also, even though he had to have another shot in the you know where. After a few more stops, we were off to get lunch and meet our families. Now for the fun part... the 3D/4D ultrasound!!! It was so much fun, the room had a huge wall projector so that everyone could see. We had a room full to see Hailey's first glamour shot(it was my parents, jc's parents and Juliet). The first shot we got was the one confirming that YES she is a GIRL!! So Jackson you still have a future wife:)Hailey on the stubborn side did not want to show us her face at first(I wonder where she gets that from)!! After a few minutes of coaxing her to move her foot and hand away from her face, we saw her. It was the most wonderful thing in the whole world, to get a glimpse of what she will look like. Jc just kept saying in the car afterwards, that's my baby girl and that he felt so much better knowing that everything look great. So here are our first photos of Hailey Josephine Williams!!
