8 months and Emerson's baby shower

Friday Hailey and I packed up our stuff and hit the road to Houston. We stayed with the Hiler's!! Hailey loved Jackson and all his toys. Thanks for letting us stay with ya'll. I think she is going to be a pushy girl... she kept touching him and giving him open mouth kisses. Good thing her daddy wasn't there to see her. Saturday morning Hillary & I went and got fantastic pedicures. While Aaron watched the kiddos (he said he need the practice before Emerson came). Then Saturday afternoon we had Hillary's baby shower for Emerson Kate. Let me tell you that girl is going to have style... she got all kinds of cute outfits!! We had a great time at the shower and we can't wait to meet Miss Emerson Kate!! Then Hailey and I packed our stuff up again, and head back to San Antonio. We didn't leave till late but that worked out well for me. Hailey just slept and then when we got home went to bed.

Sunday we had a lazy day around the house... which was quite nice. Hailey turned 8 month's.

She is changing so much. I was looking at her standing up and jumping, and thought she is not a baby anymore :( . But on the other hand she is so much fun to play with. She just laughs and crawls all the time. She really wants to walk but hasn't figured out how to do it yet. She has had many bumps to her head, now that she is pulling up. She will let go and stand for about 3 seconds before she plops down on her booty. She loves to say babababababa. No we don't have any teeth yet (still waiting)!! She just started eating 3 times a day with baby food and we are slowly giving her tiny pieces of bread. She still sleeps through the night, which is great for us :) I is funny, with all the toys she has she only wants your attention. She has learned how to give open month kisses (so cute)!! Hard to imagine life without her and we wonder everyday what our life was like before her and we can't even remember!! Hailey you are a blessing to our lives and I can't believe in 4 months you will be a year old... wow!!

PS: All those pictures are of Hailey playing with Jackson's toys... We need to up grade some of our toys!!

Happu Birthday Gabbie

Yesterday was my first baby girl's birthday!! I got Gabbie in Lubbock right after I graduated, and now she is 6 years old!! Happy Birthday!!

Hailey and I were playing with bubbles. She loves them. We have been playing with them in gymboree class. But lately she is really grabbing for them!!

Now that she can crawl around everywhere, Hailey loves to pull up on everything!! Her new favorite thing is to pull up on the back door or the shower and hit the glass.

This is one of her funny faces she loves to make lately and then she smacks her lips and says bababa!!

Last Saturday we did the March of Dime walk.... it was great, I got to see a lot of our NICU graduates. They all look so good and growing up fast!!

This cutie pie is Vincent... he was a 23 weeker (born almost 6 months early) and he weighed a pound... now look at him 2 years later.

My wonderful mother day and weekend

I had a fabulous weekend and mother's day with friends and family. Saturday we had Wendi's birthday party!! We had lots food, fun and drinks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT WENDI !! I LOVE YOU!!

My mother's day was blessed with lots of love from my family. In the morning JC made me breakfast and gave me flowers & gifts. I spent most of the day with my wonderful family. JC and I even took Hailey to the pool for the first time. She absolutely loved it. Which made me so happy because I love the pool. Then later that night my family and JC's family came over for dinner. At the end of the day I had the best first Mother's Day and I love being a mother!!Hailey had to watch everybodyShe really did have a great time... we just couldn't get her to smile for the camera.

Our Zoo trip

Last week Hailey and I went to the Zoo with Vandi and Cambria. We had a blast and even saw Tim Duncan at the zoo with his family!!
