My Birthday

Yesterday was birthday. It was a great day!! Went to lunch with some friends. Then Hailey and I picked Mema and Papa up from the airport. Then for dinner we all went to Red Lobster to celebrate - yummy!! Thanks for all the calls, cards, text, and comments online. I had a fabulous birthday!! Will post some more pics that are on my mom's camera later.

5 months old

Hailey is 5 months old!! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. She is growing like a weed. Things that she is doing...
*Eating oatmeal, squash and sweet potatoes (no more carrots they just don't sit with her tummy right).
* Rolled over once by herself... sadly it wasn't in front of mom and dad but Nana called after it happened.
* Loves sitting up on her own... but that has increased our spitting up
*Loves watching the dogs and reaches for them.
*She has a high pitch groan and even giggles now.
I love watching her personality change everydady!!





Last weekend we went to Fredricksbreg for Gina's Wedding. Jc and I had a blast... we got to sleep in and even take a nap :) The things you miss when you become a parent.
We got to see and spend time with some old friends (Hillary & Aaron,Summer & Augie, Jill & Jason, Staci & Jesse and Cari & Patrick). We have all grown up and met great men, and some of us even have kids!! wow time flys by!!




This is our Tech Nome that JC wanted... I think it looks like the travelocity nome. But JC loved him and now he is chillin in our flowerbed.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a wonderful v-day as a family today. We went to lunch. Hailey used the high chair and her high chair/shopping chart cover for the first. She loved it! I think because she was able to really look around at everyone. After lunch we got some marble slab ice cream....yummy!! And that was our valentines day!! Hailey got her first ever valentines card from her man Jackson... thanks!! We did return the gesture by making him one also!! Lately we have notice that Hailey really watches the dogs and reaches for them to touch them. We also started her on oatmeal. We had tried veggies a while back but her tummy just wasn't ready for it. So since the rice cereal has been going well we moved onto oatmeal. She really enjoys it!! Hope everyone had great Valentines Day!!

What a day :)

Hailey and I had a busy day. It started off where I didn't want to get out of bed but when you have a little one smiling and grabbing her feet next to you... you feel guilty. So I was up and ready to get the day started. Hailey played on her tummy mat and in her exersaucer. Then we were off to Nana's work to take her and Auntie Jane lunch. We had to eat fast because teachers don't get long lunch breaks (someone should do something about that). Hailey did great with lots of smiles and she even kept her bow on!! Then we were off again on the road for some errands. Then back home where Vandi and Cambria came over to play. Cambria was so cute and full of life. It is so funny how an 8 month old acts vs my 4 month old. I can't wait for Hailey to be so active... wait she already doesn't like to sit still. Maybe I'm not ready for her to be scooting around. Over all it was a good day!!
