Baby steps

Hailey just took about maybe ten step... my baby is walking.

Hailey is 9 Months old

Hailey is 9 months old!! Took her to the pedi yesterday and she said she looked great. She had to get her finger pricked to check her iron level. I thought she would loose it when they did that but she just sat there. She was more entertain about trying to suck the band-aid off after that. She didn't even whimper. And she did end up getting the band aid off. Dr.McCray said that we could continue trying all table foods but no peanut butter, nuts and shellfish. That opens the window for a lot of stuff to try. Hailey is now 21 lbs 9oz (89% for weight). The pedi made a comment that she is starting to slim down and getting her figure :) Height is 27 inches (47% for height). After her 2 shots she was really crabby so I took it as a good excuse to go to dairy queen and get a blizzard. She loved it and so did I :)

Here is a list of things she is doing at this point:

~ Says: uh-oh (says it when she drops things now), mama and Dada (but doesn't know how to use it yet)

~ loves to fake laugh when she hears people laughing.

~ can stand on her own for about 15 seconds.

~ loves to walk with push toys and has taken 2 steps without anything.

~has just learned how to shake her head NO but hasn't learned that, that means NO

~can give high five ... so cutie and she gets so excited about it.

~takes about 4 bottles a day and eats solid food 3 times a day.

~ 2 naps a day

~ goes to bed around 8ish and sleeps till 7:30am

Our First Father's Day

JC had his first father's day... it was a great day full of lots of love. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and father of our child. He is so loving and caring to Hailey and I. WE LOVE YOU DADDY!! Happy Father's Day!!

First word - uh-oh

I don't know if this counts as a first word but we can get Hailey to repeat uh-oh all the time now. She will even stop drinking her milk and say it. It is so cute!!

I don't know if you can see the bonk on her head and the snotty nose ... (I'm a great mom, I know)

Tuesday we went to Parker's house to have lunch and play in the pool. Hailey had a blast and then was very exhausted.

Napping... what's that, I want to boogie

Hailey has this new thing that when she wakes up or goes down for her nap.... She loves to play with the music on the mobile. Or she stands up and plays with it. It is very nice in the morning because it gives us an extra 20-30 minutes of sleep. But funny to hear her change the music around. Today, I went to lay her down for her afternoon nap... which she didn't want to do. She played for about 20 minutes before I went to get her. This is what she was doing!!

Also, Hailey loves to boogie to her new music table. We love to watch her.
