Well, yesterday around 4ish Hailey's fever still had not gone down. At 102.7 we called the pedi but sadly she had already gone for the day. They told me to take her to goodnight pediatrics because she is only 5 months old and shouldn't have a fever that high. I recommend that everyone know if they have something like this in their town. It's a group of pedi's that are open after hours when your pedi is not available. Plus, they are open on the weekends. It saves you time from having to go to the ER. So after a little trip to the doctor we found out that Hailey had a middle ear infection and sore throat. She also, could be fighting a viral infection. So we started her on antibiotics. But let me tell you giving a 5 month old medication is not that easy. Plus we already have to give her, her zantac on top of the antibiotic. So today Hailey has had a low grade temp all day, but Tylenol seems to be working. Tonight you wouldn't have even know she was sick with the way she was playing in her bath.
