Aubrey 3 weeks

All I can say is WOW time is flying by this time around. JC and I can't believe that Aubrey is already 3 weeks old. I have to say that it is so wonderful having my husband off with me this summer. God bless having a coach/teacher for a husband. It makes having a new baby in the house way less stressful. If we had a bad night, neither one of us has to work the next day (which makes the situation less stressful) and we can work out naps for each other the next day!! I love him so much!! Speaking of bad nights.... we had one the other night. Aubrey has been fighting sleeping with the 3am or 6am feeding. So the other night she was up from 3 am till 6:45am. Now I know it could have been horrible if she was crying the whole time, which she wasn't. But she was just awake and is still to small to leave in a bouncer or swing awake till she falls asleep. She wants to be held or has to be swaddled super tight with arms downs. We tried everything that night, even the horrible white nose... till she finally got so over tired that she started crying and finally fell asleep. Over all Aubrey has been a great easy going baby. She just fights sleeps at times, nurse pretty much every 3-4 hours (mainly 4 hours). She is a way slower nurser then Hailey ever was. What took me 20 mins tops with Hailey takes about 45 mins with Aubrey. She just takes her time till she is full.  When she is asleep can sleep through all the noise (mainly the Hailey noise) around the house. She even has a 5 hour stretch of sleep from when we put her down around 10ish. It is so funny how when you have your first child you feel overwhelmed and everything is new & a big deal. But with the second it doesn't seem like a big deal... you are calmer and just kinda take the hits as they come along. We find ourselves dealing more with the TODDLER attitude!! Hailey loves Aubrey!! She loves kissing her, hugging her and always wants to know "Where's Aubrey?". She even gave her a nick name all on her own "Berry". She calls her Berry so we turned it into "Bree Berry"!! We do have to watch our little helper because she will try to pick Aubrey up and give Aubrey her stinky binky (which turns into a shove the binky in her mouth)!! Over all we are blessed and enjoy this time with our fabulous girls!!

 We had a newborn picture photo shoot! It took awhile for her to fall asleep during the shoot and then when we were done, we just wrapped her up because she was so asleep.
